Company & Product Profile
NINGBO XINHAI AIDO continues to manufacture and refine framed wiper blades, recognizing their enduring relevance in specific market segments and applications. Our production leverages 14 years of expertise in metal frame fabrication, corrosion protection, and natural rubber compounding.
We combine this traditional design with modern quality standards, offering a product that delivers reliable, time-tested performance for drivers who prefer or require this style of wiper, or for vehicles where it remains the optimal or OE-specified design.
Application Fields
- Replacement for older vehicle models originally equipped with traditional framed wipers.
- Vehicles with windshields that have sharp or complex curvature, where multi-point frame articulation provides superior conformity compared to some beam blades.
- Commercial fleets, trucks, and cost-sensitive markets where durability and the ability to replace only the rubber insert (refill) are valued for lower long-term cost.
- Drivers in regions with severe ice and snow, where the robust metal frame can withstand the physical stress of clearing packed snow.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: Are framed wipers noisier than flat (beam) wipers?
- A: Not necessarily. With a high-quality natural rubber refill, framed wipers can be very quiet. Perceived noise often comes from worn or low-quality rubber, or from wind whistle around the frame at very high speeds. The natural rubber in our blades is formulated specifically for smooth, quiet operation.
- Q: How do I replace just the rubber refill?
- A: Most frames have metal claws or end caps that hold the rubber strip. By squeezing these claws or sliding the end cap, the old rubber can be pulled out lengthwise. The new refill is then slid into the channel along the frame until it clicks into place at both ends. Instructions are provided with the refill.
- Q: Why choose framed over frameless for a modern car?
- A: If your vehicle’s windshield has a pronounced curve, a well-designed framed blade may provide better edge-to-edge contact. Additionally, for winter climates, the frame is less likely to have ice freeze solidly to its open structure compared to a smooth beam blade casing. It’s also a more cost-effective solution.
